EXCLUSIVE: Film House Germany’s Summerstorm Entertainment and Vandal Entertainment have acquired Byron Willinger & Phil De Blasi’s hot spec screenplay Command & Control. Vandal Entertainment’s Navid McIlhargey is producing alongside Film House Germany and Summerstorm Entertainment’s CEO Gabriela Bacher.

The producers are out to select directors on the project, which follows a NSA employee as he takes over the most secure room in the nation — U.S. Cyber Command — using its advanced spyware technology to unravel a deadly conspiracy. In an effort to redeem himself and save millions of innocent lives, he gains the trust of a young female hacker to stop a false-flag operation being run by members of the government.

“We were blown away when we read this script,” producers McIlhargey and Bacher said. “It isn’t very often in one’s career that you get a script so well written, so engaging on every level and so packed with thrills.,”

Willinger & De Blasi recently penned Skyscraper for Universal, and Paradise Lost for Legendary and Warner Bros. They are both repped by Verve who brokered the deal. Film House Germany also has David Leveaux’s The Kaiser’s Last Kiss with Lily James and Christopher Plummer. Lotus Entertainment is handling international sales at Cannes.

Film House Germany has strategic alliances with both Basil Iwanyk’s Thunder Road Pictures and Vandal Entertainment.
